Lovely Lampwork Bead

I bought this lampwork bead on Ebay as I loved the idea of an elongated pendant....in contrast to the more usual round style. I put this necklace together the moment the bead arrived. The artisan (D.Teskey) called the bead "Medicine Pole" and so I thought the feathers added a bit more "Native" theme. One thing I love about making one's own jewellry is that you can literally "change" everything about it.....i.e. add new findings for a completely different look. However, for now, this combination works and I can't wait to wear it.
