No Sleep for Me

I completed the top after seeing the 8's design on the internet and thought I would have a good night's sleep before I completed the bottom section. Honestly, that's what I thought would happen......but, NO,.....as I laid awake thinking about what design to put on the bottom....the ideas ranged from doing the same 8's pattern to making it look like wooden planks. Then, about 4:00 a.m. the idea to simply put hinges on the corners struck me and it became a race to the studio to come up with this design. I think this one is very cute and I hope it inspires you to lay awake for hours and hours working out your next Zentangle project! LOL
