Give me Oak.....Lots of Oak!

One of my favourite things is the thick, rich, coarse texture of oak. I have always loved oak furniture, even during the 80's when there was nothing but teak, teak, teak. But I digress......SO, imagine my delight when I was able to replicate the oak look on this little 5" papermache box. Again, this box was a throw-away which has found new life as my current favourite table-topper. I had a lot of fun working out the "hardware" aspect for this one and decided to only put them on the top as I have learned over time that "less is often more".
