Spent some time today trying to get the feel for Joanne Fink's "dangles".....which, by the way, look deceivingly easy! Unlike "tangles", the dangles need to be personally designed and that artistic flow was a little hard to jump start. However, once in the groove, and with the addition of lots of colour, the piece started to take shape and I am pleased with my first attempt. If you decide to attempt this particular art form, I would suggest you set aside a good chunk of time and settle in for a lot of pondering moments. It seems like you are finished when, suddenly, you decide more needs to be added.....I am of the opinion that there is no end to each piece as the possibilities are truly ENDLESS.
This has the look of a Frank Lloyd Wright glass window. I could see the two main initials being morphed into stylized columns.
