Polyptych Anyone
The group met today and we had a lovely time, as usual. Today,we tried our hand at a modified version of a Polyptych - that of dividing an art project into a number of sections, or panels, with a common theme. I tried my hand at a Diptych (2), Carol worked on a Tryptych (3), Louise and Darcie forged ahead with Quadriptychs (4) and Vickie was a really good sport trying her hand at a Pentaptych (5). Given our time frame, a couple of them are currently unfinished, but the "seed was planted" and they have taken their homework home. I think the exercise of trying to think in terms of a multi-frame was a good one.....not as easy as it may look for sure, but one that lends itself to other applications and definitely future projects. Good work everyone! (Next day) I had a new matte cut so I could show my "Tree of Life" as a Tryptych....I printed the picture three times and then cut the "panels" as I wanted them (which is more the end result that I wanted).

Those are fabulous! Did you have all the frames or did you do a VV run?
